I just spent about a half hour at today’s FamilyFirst site. It’s a hoot, by any standards.
It’s Time Magazine’s 50 Worst Cars Ever Made.
The list was compiled this year in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Ford Edsel, which, of course, is on the list. Actually, they were quite kind in their description of the car. They didn’t even comment on its electric prone-to-failure push-button transmission controls that were located in the STEERING WHEEL!
The list includes some serious clunkers like the Yugo, the 1899 Horsey Horseless that featured a false horse head on the front to keep its real counterparts calm when it passed, and a very expensive, very heavy Lamborghini SUV, popular with oil sheiks.
But you may be surprised at some of the other choices. For example, Ford’s hugely successful Model T. The reason iot made the list actually makes good sense.
So have fun at today’s humorous, provocative FamilyFirst site.
